Coolpad Note 3 Lite Launched In India
Coolpad smartphones forayed in the Indian market last year only. The company launched several variants, but its Coolpad Note 3 was the show stealer. This phablet under Rs 10k category impressed us with its features as well as performance. To encash on its success, the company has today launched a toned down version of the Note 3, i.e., Coolpad Note 3 Lite for Rs 6,999.

This is company’s first made-in-India device, which has been made by its manufacturing partner Videocon.
Speaking on the occasion LI Bin, CEO, Coolpad Group said, “We are proud to announce that, by the first quarter of 2016, we will start manufacturing Coolpad Note 3 from Videocon`s Aurangabad factory. Our target is to produce 1 million “Make in India” Coolpad phones by the H1 of 2016.”
“Initially, around 15,000- 20,000 devices will be imported from China and rest will be manufactured from India, going forward India will be the sole distributor for SAARC regions. Also by 2017 we will start our SMT line in India, with Indian users being early adopters of affordable technology, we intend to be the trendsetters and leaders in the 4G segment, Keeping the Indian consumers on priority the Coolpad Note 3 was launched with a 3GB RAM exclusively for India, “we intend to keep following this trend,” he said.
The Note 3 Lite borrows many features from its predecessor; the fingerprint sensor being one. Located at the back of the phone, this sensor supports 360 degrees finger rotation capability, fast response time, and 3D image quality. Interestingly, you can also click selfies using this fingerprint sensor.
Other specs of Coolpad Note 3 Lite are as follows: You get a 5.0-inch HD screen, 3GB of RAM along with 16GB of in built storage along with a dual-SIM slot and SD Card support of up to 64 GB. For imaging it has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and auto focus alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front-and-rear-facing cameras feature CMOS image sensor for better image quality and powered by a 2,500mAh battery.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be available exclusively on Amazon.in via flash sale in champagne white and black variants. The pre-booking would begin today evening at 5:00 pm, while the first flash sale will commence on 28th Jan 2016 at 2:00 pm.
